InkPDF — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

InkPDF ("we", "us", or "the app") is built around a simple promise: your files stay on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what data the app does and does not handle.

Short version

InkPDF does not collect, store, transmit, or share your personal data or your files. There is no account. There is no analytics on your documents. There is no cloud upload. Everything happens on your phone.

Files you create or import

When you use InkPDF — to merge, split, compress, sign, scan, convert, rotate, or summarize PDFs and images — those files are processed entirely on your device. They are saved into InkPDF's private folder on your phone's local storage. They are not uploaded to any server controlled by us or by anyone else.

You can remove files from InkPDF's list at any time. The list of recent files is stored locally on your device using Android's standard preferences system and is also not transmitted anywhere.

Permissions the app requests

Permissions are used only for the immediate action you take, and only on your device.

On-device AI (Summarize tool)

InkPDF includes an optional Summarize feature that uses Google's on-device AI (Gemini Nano via ML Kit), available on supported flagship Android phones. When you use this feature, the text you provide is processed by an AI model running locally on your phone. The text is not sent to any server by us or by the AI model. The first time you use this feature, your phone may download the AI model from Google over the internet; the model itself runs offline thereafter.

Third-party services

InkPDF may display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob is operated by Google and may collect device-level identifiers (such as an Android Advertising ID) to serve ads. Google's use of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings under "Ads".

InkPDF does not provide AdMob with the contents of your files. AdMob does not see, access, or process your PDFs or images.

Data we do not collect

Children

InkPDF is a general-purpose utility app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the app's description on Google Play.
